Every building starts with who actually lives there, and at 88 Schermerhorn the answer set a different tone from almost anything else we've made. This is not a home for quiet domesticity. It's for the resident who works hard, plays hard, and wants their address to have an edge. Art Deco geometry, a bold checkered floor, materials with real sheen and depth: the lobby reads sexy rather than safe, and the shared spaces hold their own at any hour. A building that knows exactly who it's for, and doesn't hedge.
